Game Art Asset Update
I updated my BlockBuddies game art assets. :)
It’s been one of thing that I have been meaning to do. I never really mustered the energy and time to do. Creation is fun, creative and quite relaxing. The aftermath is a different story though. There is the scaling, naming, uploading, adding to the storefront. Thumbnails, icon images and postings to the blog need to be done. All that is a different story entirely. :(
Nevertheless, today I finally sat done – well, until my chair broke (which is another story altogether – and led to a nice new office chair) – and did the boring grind. I added a bunch of new characters to the BlockBuddies set of characters.
So glad it’s done! I will try to remember the extra work these little guys take before indulging in the fun of creating more of them. :)

I like your block buddies but I find the females too masculine with this chin :P
I have to agree… the 'blocky' look doesn't work too well… I am not sure if it's worth fixing or if I should just start a new 'better proportioned' line of characters.
Hi, i really love what you are doing but your tutorial and how simple you think you are making stuff is not simple. Like i want to design the zombie character and i can't seem to make it. If you can, please do a zombie character tutorial because i like the little brain you made. Please can you do it soon? And also do a tutorial on how to make a spooky background for a zombie shooter game

and yes… a Zombie isn't that hard to do… I did a top down zombie walk cycle before… but I can try and do a Zombie tutorial as well.
